After making the move from city life to country and a spot of home renovation, Abbie got stuck into her role as our Marketing Manager. With a background in Arts Marketing and a love of all things crafty, Abbie has developed a keen eye for which router packaging would make a good arts and crafts activity. Muddy kids and husband in tow, you will often spot her out and about East Lothian of a weekend. With a passion for both marketing and people, Abbie is the perfect person to head up our marketing team.

Having completed the Inca Trail, Hadrian’s Wall, and the West Highland Way, Gina now spends most of her time managing daily relationship between a 3 year old and kitten!

Having worked for 24 years in the cable telecolms industry in a variety of roles, Gareth brings a wealth of valuable experience to the role of Director of Engineering at Lothian Broadband. Gareth looks after teams of technicians and engineers who maintain, design ,upgrade and monitor both the Fixed Wireless and Pure Fibre networks. Gareth ensures a high standard of service to our increasing customer base. As if that isn't enough to keep a person busy, Gareth enjoys exploring Scotland with family, walking in the wonderful Highlands and Islands, as well as getting outdoors closer to home.

As a Sales Executive, having a personal connection with your colleagues is extremely important, so Kelly is not afraid to be cheeky at times! Having worked in Australia, Belfast and France in sales, Kelly has unparalleled knowledge and certainly knows what she’s doing. As well as her job, she has two kids to keep up with, but miraculously she still has time to enjoy many social events, which she also arranges for her fellow co-workers at Lothian Broadband.

Jamie, our operations expert, is often found half way up a ladder sporting a pair of shorts, whatever the weather. He doesn’t hold back on his humour and when he's not cracking 'hilarious' jokes, he’s participating in a multitude of activities from cubs to rugby. A family man with a wonderfully varied employment history, Jamie is the friendly face of Lothian Broadband ensuring all customers are delighted with their new broadband. He's the man for the job, regardless of what the job might be!

Originally from New Zealand, our Managing Director has been involved with Lothian Broadband from the beginning. A team player, he picks up the tab for staff bacon rolls (every Friday at 10am if anyone else is interested). Nic is no stranger to the countryside and alongside 2 kids and Labrador, Bramble, he keeps a busy family routine. He is passionate about going the extra mile for Lothian Broadband customers and his commitment to ensuring those in rural areas receive city broadband speeds is commendable.

Returning to the business after a few years, Nicola has taken a role within our customer service team. Now pursuing further education – it seemed life without Lothian was too difficult to go without! Currently living in Edinburgh and enjoying all that city life brings; she also enjoys getting back out to her family home in the borders for some good county air from time to time. She assists the rest of the customer service team with a variety of tasks as well as working closely alongside other members of staff to help out where she can. Having worked in the property sector for the last year she is now able to offer further experience to contribute to Lothian.

With a Fine Art Degree, a Masters in Computer Animation and numerous languages up his sleeve, Romain is one of our most diversely skilled team-members. Working with Medecins Sans Frontières in conflict situations and as a 3D digital modeller for film and TV, his travels have taken him around the globe. Romain’s energy and enthusiasm bring an endless positivity to the team and when en route to various swimming pools of the area with his girls, you will see him practising his singing and maybe sneaking in a little time to fly a stunt kite!

After studying Country Side Management at Harper Adams University Cameron realised the need for reliable superfast broadband in the Highlands of Scotland and started Highland Wireless in 2017 before joining Lothian Broadband as Head of Technical Networking after Lothian acquired Highland Wireless in 2020. With his experience of running Highland Wireless, Cameron brings invaluable experience on the network and business management side of things. Cameron ensures that the Lothian network is working as it should be and that Lothian are using the latest technology and equipment to ensure our customers continue to receive superfast broadband! Cameron is a keen Apple fan and can often be found exploring new tech in-between walking with his Cocker spaniel, Alife.
