Accounts & Administration Manager

Lothian Broadband provides broadband connections to the harder to get to members of the public in rural and other areas. It is a swiftly developing company that is making a difference in many people’s lives. Lothian Broadband is a relatively young company, with a great deal of ambition. As such we are now seeking an Accounts & Administration Manager to join the team in Humbie, East Lothian.

The role of Accounts & Administration Manager is wide ranging and will include data entry into our account system, management of our bank accounts, invoicing, administration, office/team co-ordination, stock control, ordering, customer liaison and support to the Managing Director.

The successful candidate will come from a Finance background and be used to dealing with customers and suppliers and have working knowledge of finance systems (Ledger, Xero, etc.) You must be comfortable working with a diverse team and have excellent communication skills, be a self-driven team player and be open to learning and continuous development.

Essential criteria

  • Must have previous experience in a Finance role and working knowledge of finance systems( Ledger, Xero, etc)
  • Great administration and communication skills, used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst keeping calm.

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of Xero (Finance system) desirable
  • Relevant finance qualifications highly desirable
  • Used to working with a diverse team.
  • Able to effectively support a busy MD.

LOCATION:  Humbie, East Lothian, Scotland

SALARY & BENEFITS: Negotiable dependant on experience

WORKING HOURS: Full time
